Hello World. Hello.
March 19, 2007
Decided this would be better than flickr to put new shots up on, sometimes descriptions are nice.
(For some reason, this post date is showing up as March 19th, when it should be May 1st)
Summer has hit Scotland, and it’s been great to get out and about, taking pictures with such nice films as APX100 and stuff. So, just a few photos from over the last few days, the next entry should be better.I hope. All black and white photos taken on a Leica M6 + 35mm Summicron. Colour photos taken on a canon 350d and 18-55mm.
We went to Loch Lomond. It was nice. Shot on apx 100. More nice.
A few days before, we had went to Tollcross park. Sorry for the unchronologicalness.
At the weekend, we celebrated Pmumie’s birthday at Kubla Khans, and ate zebra, springbok, shark, ostrich, wild boar, kangaroo and some noodles. We stayed for nearly 4 hours, and had a blast. Good times.
^ Taken at 1/2 a second, tri-x +1. Dark.
You put all the ingredients into a bowl yourself, then they cook it for you on a massive heated surface. Hipshot here.^
^Taken at 1/8th of a second on FP4. Somehow lighter, yet still dark. I think jonny suits that hat.
We went back to Tollcross park at the weekend, and played some frisbee and just mucked about.Shot a roll of Pan F, a film I’d never tried before. Shooting nearly wide open in sunlight is strange. Want to print some of these soon. They have a weird look to them, i think i must have underexposed a little. Hmm.
I saw some rabbits after dropping off some slide film.
Simon and I went along to Sleazies to see Niall’s band.
They ‘renovated’ the argyle street train station, But it doesn’t look much different. Tri-x+1 here.
That’s it for now, I didn’t realise I had posted so many, so I apologise for so many photos. The next entry will be more concise and stuff.
Cheers,
- Harrison
