I am poor.

Because I don’t make a lot of money and I keep buying things. So if you need a Canon Wireless transmitter, you can bid on mine -here-
Right, now that’s out of the way, here’s some images. I bought a Sigma 17-35/f2.8-4 at the start of the month, because I got a good deal on it. I’ve barely used it though, just needed something wider than 35mm to have for jobs etc. Anyway.
Finally got round to taking a photo of this wall. Still experimenting with digital black and white processing because I don’t have a darkroom anymore [/emo]
Walking around Edinburgh with Louise last month.
At Sam’s house. Jonathan looking concerned.
I took this photo of Jenn on my way to work..
walked about town for a bit with Sam and Jonathan..
…and came back to the recently haircutted Jenn!
Then we went to the two-storey Tesco and bought nonsense.
Kasia in work.
Warning: a few more cat photos coming up.
These were all taken around the time when Jenn and Grant moved into a new flat…
..which has this view of the city from the living room window.
..or this view if you look slightly to the left and through a 17mm lens.
Oh, and it’s right next to the canal.
Sorry for another cat photo.
What promises to be the first of many selfs in that lift.
Bored in my room.
Last self in the Jenn’s old bathroom mirror. That’s not sensor dust.
Jonny had a leaving party/ceilidh as he’s off to South Africa for 3 months to do some volunteer work.
Jenn, after we saw to the buffet.
Ryan called and asked if I wanted to go to a party. I’m glad I have a car so I can wait inside when it’s raining. I broke my iPhone, so had to use my old phone while it was away for repair. Not cool.
We found a pool table there, and I found a winning streak
Reading Jose Cuervos’ magical margherita story..
I can’t remember what was in that bottle. But it smelled pretty bad.
It got late..
Goodnight!
A bonus to working in a camera shop is that you get old cameras people bring in that they want disposed of. I haven’t used it yet because old cameras are rubbish, but it looks badass.
Jonathan and I went down to the Old Firm final at Hampden (the national stadium). But nothing much was happening, which was a bit disappointing.
Another abandoned house. This place was huge and pretty awesome. Jenn was shooting some jewellery here.
Hanna made the jewellery.
Sam was modelling.
But got fed up, haha.
Jonny had another leaving party, this time at his house.
Shopping for gerbil food.
Another party. This time it was Eddie’s engagement party.
We went and bought some clothes and stuff the day before Jonny left for S.Africa. I tried to drink coffee again, but failed.
Busted out the 17mm again. Dynaaaamic.
S’all for now folks.

old folding cameras like that are boss. mine is a kodak from 1909, takes some old-fogey film that they don’t make any more so I’ve hacked it to take 120. throws light onto three frames worth at a time and rocks for avedon-like group portraits. bitch to scan/print though.

Sam looks like a handsome mofo in those pics. brilliant! Is that gym sign in the east end, parkhead way? I saw it ages ago and have tried to find it since but to no avail!

So apparently it is actually possible to take a blurry, rubbish photo with a 1Ds III and a 50 1.2… shame on me.
