New York and Texas.
August 28, 2009
Jenn and I went to New York for 4 nighs, and then down to Houston, TX for just over two weeks where we stayed with her dad.
I also finally figured out a colour balance i like.
Atop the Empire State. 9am.
This looks really american to Scottish people.
(Take a while to look at this one)
We were down at the Pier watching a free Slow Club/Casiokids show. You can watch a video from that night (which feautures Jenn and I quite heavily in the crowd) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJmXbXHc66k
Nothing here but new york light is incredible.
Now on to Texas.
Stupid filter..
I got a grip, and wanted to see just how big it made the camera look. And i stuck ont he flash for extra measure. The shutter release on the grip is *really* light…?
This isn’t photoshopped as much as it looks like it is. Houston Fine Arts Museum. It was great.
Nice light, nice ducks.
Alex caught a fish, then we let it go. I’d never been fishing before.
Found a nice cafe with a nice mirror.
We drove an hour to Kemah and ate ice-cream and bought presents.
Lunch in a Diner. It was great.
More to come.
